Daniel Radcliffe battled alcohol abuse and a paralysing brain disorder, which came in the way during the production of the 'Harry Potter' films, alleges a new book.
Randy Jernigan, a journalist who's writing 'The Life And Career Of Daniel Radcliffe', claims to have spoken to 19 friends of the 24-year-old star and said that the episodes he suffered on the sets restricted him from doing anything, even tying his shoes, the Daily Star reported.
The actor was devastated at being diagnosed with the chronic neurological disorder, dyspraxia, which was confirmed in 2008, and had taken up booze as a way to cope with the illness, he added.
Previously, Radcliffe had admitted that though he did go to work drunk, he never drank at work.
