'Iron Man' director Shane Black will reportedly helm the sequel of the hit film 'Predator'.

The filmmaker will write and direct the reboot of the sci-fi blockbuster, which had Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers and Jesse Ventura, reported Hollywood Reporter. Black appeared in a minor role in the first 1987 film.

Since that film, there have been three Predator-related films, a sequel in 1990, a spin-off in 2010 and two 'Alien vs. Predator' films in 2004 and 2007. PTI CORR PKS John Davis, who produced the original with Joel Silver and Lawrence Gordon, is producing the reboot.
