Actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has paid tribute to his friend and co-actor Paul Walker in a very special way.

Walker was killed in a fiery car crash in 2013.

Dwayne, who featured in `Fast & Furious 6` with Walker and is also part of the forthcoming seventh franchise of the action thriller, took to Instagram Saturday to post a short video clip that honours Walker's dedication to marine life, reports eonline.com.

"[I] Was moved to shoot this very special intro to one of Paul Walker's final missions for shark and marine conservation," Johnson wrote on Instagram.

In the video shot for Discovery's `Shark Week`, which kicks off Sunday, The Rock looks back at the actor's life both on and off screen.
