Singer-actress Lindsay Lohan had an embarrassing moment when her credit card was declined at a nightclub here recently.

Lohan, who is going to work in David Mamet's play `Speed-the-Plow`, was dismayed when the incident happened.

She was attempting to pay the $2,500 bill for her table and bottles of vodka, but her card got rejected.

`Lindsay freaked out when her card was declined. Her friends and others in her group had to chip in to cover the bill,` nypost.com quoted a source as saying.

Meanwhile, Lohan will make her London West End debut Sep 24.
