Actor Brad Pitt did not play with cars or bikes as a child -- but with guns. The actor says that he owned his first shotgun when he was in kindergarten.
The actor shared the candid detail about his life in an interview with the Radio Times magazine, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"There's a rite of passage where I grew up from inheriting your ancestors' weapon," the 50-year-old said.
"My brother got my dad's(gun). I got my grandfather's when I was in kindergarten," Pitt added.
The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" actor was given his first air gun when he was in nursery and received shotgun when he was six and even fired a handgun by the time he was eight years old.
The actor also said that he learned "to respect the weapon".
