Actor Charlie Sheen and his fiancee Brett Rossi have decided to go separate ways just weeks before their November wedding.

The TV star said that the break-up was a mutual decision and he is looking to focus more on his children than on a relationship right now.

"Scotty and I had a great year together as we travelled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list. She's a terrific girl, but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together,` Sheen told eonline.com.

"I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have a tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best," he added.

The former couple had announced their engagement earlier this year in February after Sheen proposed to Rossi during a Valentine's Day trip in Hawaii.
