As the Additional Sessions Judge D.W. Deshpande on Wednesday sentenced Bollywood star Salman Khan to five years in jail for the 2002 hit-and-run accident that killed one man and injured four.

We found an interview that had a shocking revelation of why he did not tie the knot. What actually stopped the superstar from the holy matrimony. Salman had confessed in an interview with the leading daily that he does wish to get married and have two or three kids as well, but what stopped him?

We bring you the reason behind Salman's big decision. During an television interview Salman had stated, `I was at verge of getting married but I was saved. And now as you are well aware of the incidents in my life, the Jodhpur series as well as the Mumbai series, on merit by the grace of God we would win both the cases, but God forbid if there is any turn of events, and I have to go to jail, then what will happen.`

He continued, `And before all that happens, if I get married and have kids, would it be fair for the person I marry? If her husband has to stay in prison for two, three, four, five years? And his children haven to see him behind the bars?`

Salman had stated that he wishes that the court case sums up soon and after that he would consider getting married! So we finally have an answer!Salman had also said in that interview that however the things turn out good or bad, once they are sorted he would consider getting married.
