Priyanka Chopra is likely to star in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming film

If the latest buzz is to be believed, Priyanka Chopra has accepted Ekta Kapoor's offer to star in her next. PeeCee is said to have had a series of meetings with the producer before flying to the US for the poster launch of her debut international show, 'Quantico'.

A source says, "Priyanka met Ekta twice at a suburban hotel and they had a long conversation over a script - a love story with a twist. She has given her nod to the project and met Ekta's creative team last week to discuss her dates."


The actress, who currently has her hands full, apparently committed herself to the project towards the end of this year and early next year. Adds the source, "She will mostly be out of the city during the second half of 2015. However, she is keen to do this film with Ekta as she has not worked with her before. The hunt for the lead actor and director is currently on. It won't be a woman-centric film though."

The script will be locked only after Priyanka approves it - the only condition the actress has put forth during her meeting with Ekta, the source states.
