For Varun Dhawan, working in 'ABCD 2' has been one helluva learning experience. As he plays a Maharashtrian guy in the film, he wanted to get his accent right. And he found help at hand. His co-star Shraddha Kapoor, who speaks fluent Marathi, courtesy mommy Shivangi, turned teacher for the Punjabi munda.

The actress used food as motivation - Varun was allowed to share her tiffin if he spoke at least one full sentence in Marathi. Says the actress, `Varun knows Marathi, but he wasn't quite confident of his diction. I helped him with his vocabulary and how to form sentences. And he learnt it quickly, specially when he had to eat the home cooked food I used to bring to the sets.`

Varun says Shraddha's tiffin was hard to resist and so he put in extra effort to perfect his accent. `Her pet name on the sets was Raani and Chimni and I had to pronounce it right in Marathi accent to get her food,` says the actor.
