John Abraham's father is a Malayali Christian and his mother is an Iranian who married after a brief courtship. Reportedly, his father being Catholic he was named John but

John who was born on 17 December 1972 did MBA and started his career as a media planner in an agency named Enterprises-Nexus but he was not destined to continue
