Nidhi Dutta will make her acting debut this year with JP Dutta's Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le alongside Nafisa Ali's son Ajit Sodhi, has no desire to become size zero and would rather like her body of work to speak on her behalf. Amidst the constant clamor about the nationwide obsession for size zero figure, Nidhi has stood out as the girl comfortable in her own skin. The daughter of filmmaker JP Dutta and former actress Bindiya Goswami Dutta - Nidhi has worked extremely hard on her physical appearance.

After losing almost 25 kgs for Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le, Nidhi has acquired a curvy yet fit look. The actress believes one must be healthy and doesn't need to be anorexic. Nidhi says, "I don't know why people always keep talking about size zero. Actors need to be fit and look their best on screen but size zero is not attractive and doesn't promote a healthy lifestyle."
