Mohit was shooting in a hotel in Dubai and month-wise he was nowhere close to Diwali. The ace director decided to light up the entire hotel like we light up our homes during the festival of lights. He, thus, re-created Diwali and also got fire-crackers for the shoot.
Post the shoot, the entire team bonded with each other and they even got the hotel staff to celebrate this sequence with them. Mohit says, the crew felt like they were at home after a month of shooting in the country.
Mohit said, "We were shooting in a massive hotel covering acres of land. The team had worked really hard to light up the entire hotel and had organised fire-crackers too. It was feeling like Diwali that night. Vidya was trying her hand at Rangoli, fully dressed in traditional attire. We were shooting our song Humnava and the script demanded that it was Diwali. This was the sequence where Emraan professes his love for Vidya. So, Diwali - the festival of lights, suited the moment really well."
"The entire Indian crew felt closer to home as we had shot for a long time outside India. We bonded post the shoot. The entire crew chilled together. It was great that the entire team that believed in the story, the film were hanging out. It was a nice moment for us all," he added.
