Sources close to the actress reveal that Jacqueline met with a leg injury during the rehearsals for the show in Malaysia and only later realized its severity. Though the actress initially brushed the pain off as a minor injury, it was only later that she realized that she had sprained her left leg.
Doctor has immediately prescribed few anti-inflammatory medicine as well as pain killers. Though the actress was advised to take on some easier choreography, she insisted on sticking to the challenging steps that the crew had initially decided on.
Says a source, " Jacqueline has been really excited to perform at IIFA, especially since it is being held in Malaysia and being half Malaysian , Jacqueline has a huge fan following there - Despite being advised rest or opting for easier dance steps, Jacqueline insisted on sticking to the original choreography since she didn't want to disappoint her fans.Jacqueline's mother and sister too will be watching her perform live for the first time and she hopes things go off well".
