The ace actor has won hearts in India and at the same time is very popular internationally.

While Deepika was at IIFA early this month she had a heartening experience. Deepika's fans had come to catch a glimpse of the actress while she walked the red carpet.

They were all hooting and clapping as soon as she arrived. They then started singing songs from her film and called her by her character names; Naina, Meenama, Piku...


Deepika could not give media bytes on the red carpet as the fans were absolutely uncontrollable.

While Deepika was at IIFA last year as well her fans were absolutely uncontrollable. She even met Kevin Spacey and John Travolta who were high on praise for her last year.
