Upen Patel, the new sensation on the block, has signed seven films. Since then he has been getting countless calls from the industry congratulating him for the lucky seven he has signed on.

But Upen as humble as ever says: "I owe a lot to Subhash-ji (Ghai) and Abbas-Mustan. My loyalties will always lie with Subhash-ji. They have been extremely supportive and guided me. No matter what I achieve I'll always be thankful to Subhash-ji. I'll always be a phone call away at any point of time in my career."

"Ashiqui", the promo song of his debut film "36 China Town", is already on air and he is touted to be the next John Abraham, making a transition from a super model to films.
