Arshad Warsi and Amit Sadh, who learnt Haryanvi for Guddu Rangeela, loved the language so much that they use the lingo when they meet for promotion of the film, directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Sangeeta Ahir.
The two actors, who learnt this language for the first time for this movie, are also banking on Haryanvi jokes to regale their friends. Ask what Arshad likes about the language and he quips, "It's very blunt. And when you ask a Haryanvia question, you can't be assured of a straight reply. Like, ask him 'Train kitne baje aayegi?' and he will counter saying,'Kyun? Kat ke marna hai kya?'" Adds Amit, Haryanvi is a colourful language. Though I didn't know the language earlier, I picked it in due course when we started training sessions. Arshad and I enjoyed talking inHaryanviso much that we'd communicate in it even after the shoot and now during promotional campaigns." Besides the language, the two actors also bonded over biking and food. says Arshad, "We're planning a long bike trip after the rains. We just might take a short one first."
