Talking about her ordeal Meera says, "My family keeps asking me, when are you getting married? My father, brothers, mother, grandmother, sisters all keep pursuing the same topic. My grandmother wants to see me married, she says I'm getting too old for marriage."
Meera also reveals that her family has some serious issues with her frequent globetrotting too.
"My parents have a problem with my globetrotting. They term it as my awaragardi. Since I keep travelling to India, UK, Dubai and other countries, they think I lead a bohemian lifestyle," tells Meera.
But isn't every actress has to go through the similar hassles? What makes Meera's folks so insecure?
"They are extremely weary about her Bollywood sojourn," reveals a close family friend. "They fear that she might fall for a Hindu guy which may be completely unacceptable to thier conservative family."
Ask Meera how she copes up with the entire family drama and she tells, "After listening to them for a couple of minutes, when the pressure mounts, I just smile and retire to my room and sleep. At times, I meditate to overcome the stress."
