After entertaining audiences with the bawdy hit "Masti", director Indra Kumar returns with the Fardeen
Khan-Vivek Oberoi starrer "Pyare Mohan" this Friday hoping to hit the right comic note again.
This time he is depending upon two physically impaired heroes to elicit laughter.
The film revolves around Fardeen Khan, who is blind, and Vivek Oberoi, who is deaf. The pair are
inseparable.
A quirk of fate puts them behind bars. They try to tell the cops that they are being convicted for a crime
they haven't done, but the evidence against them is too strong to be ignored.
A sympathetic police commissioner believes them, however, and decides to bail them out.
The film also stars Esha Deol and Amrita Rao. Anu Malik has recorded all the songs and the lyrics are
by Sameer. Milap Zaveri and Tushar Hiranandani, who penned the story of "Masti", also script this
one.
Kumar has so far had a good track record, with hits like "Dil", "Beta" and "Ishq", and distributors are
quite hopeful about "Pyare Mohan".
