Shahid Kapoor's Mumbai wedding reception decor to be rustic, rugged and natural organic white

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's Mumbai reception for Bollywood folk will be held on Sunday night at the Palladium hotel in Lower Parel. The reception decor at the five-star hotel has been done by wedding decor stylist Rachana Lucknowala of Vivaah wedding decor company, who had also designed for Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan's wedding reception last year.

Says Rachana, "Shahid favours amber lights, so the decor will definitely feature it. All the sections are being created with a different mood and setting, each being drastically contrasting from the other. Rustic, rugged and natural organic white - that is what Shahid and Mira's reception venue will look like."


Vivaah was handpicked by Shahid himself for the decor of his Mumbai reception.

The royal blue wedding reception invite has a chrome plate that contains the event information and doubles up as the security pass as well. Designed by New Delhi-based designer Ravish Kapoor, the reception card's idea was Sasha's idea as well.
