Very few know that before becoming popular for his performance in "Iqbal" as a deaf-mute cricketer, Shreyas Talpade consulted a professional astrologer to be successful.

But nothing seemed to work. "I am not superstitious. But sometimes when things don't go the way you want them to, you tend to believe in anything," Shreyas told.

"I won't deny that I tried a ring before 'Iqbal'. Someone gave me a fake stone to wear in my finger. But it worsened the situation. Since then I don't wear anything. I believe in god and his power."

He said it was his wife, Deepti Deshmukh, who brought him luck.

"I have got a great 'heera' (diamond) with me. It is my wife. She is really lucky for me. I married her and I got 'Iqbal'," quipped Shreyas.

Right now he is shooting for a comedy, "Apna Sapna Money Money", where he plays an orphaned boy running a garage who falls in love with Riya Sen.

Shreyas is open to all kinds of roles and would love to give a shot to typical Bollywood masala films.

"I love to experiment and I would love to run around trees and sing songs. I would love to give it a try."

He is also working in Nagesh Kukunoor's next film.
