Renuka Shahane's acting prowess has always been lauded by both the classes as well as the masses, and withRita (2009), she firmly established herself as a director, with an eye for both cinematic finesse and viewers' expectations. Currently, while she is busy with the promotions of her upcoming Marathi film, Renuka has the blueprint of her next directorial venture almost ready.


Speaking about it, Renuka said,"My next project would beTribhang, depicting the dysfunctional relationship between a family's three women who come together for an event.This intense drama will trace the past, present and future of these battered relationships. Needless to say, men have very little to do in this film."

Speaking about the actors she deems fit for being in this intense drams, she said, "Right now I just have only one name in mind, Vidya Balan. Three months from now when my current film would have released and I would be completely ready with my project, I will approach Vidya. I'm really impressed with her intelligence and film choices. Since she chooses diverse cinematic challenges, I'm hopeful she will agree," shared Renuka.
