It seems that veteran actor Anupam Kher, who launched his career by playing an old character in Mahesh Bhatt's 1984 film `Saaransh`, can never repay the debt that he owes the filmmaker.

Bhatt, who has not directed a film for over a decade now, took to micro-blogging site Twitter to post a photograph in which Anupam is seen giving money to him.

`Guru-Dakshina. The Saaransh of our enduring relationship is love + love + lots of money,` Bhatt captioned the image.

Interestingly, when Bhatt appeared in the first season of `The Anupam Kher Show - Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai`, Anupam said that whenever he meets his `idol` he gives some money to him for helping him establish his career.

The duo went on to work in films like `Janam`, `Daddy` and `Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin`.
