Apparently, Ashutosh Govarikar had shot a scene where Elizabeth ‘Rachel' Shelly proposes to Bhuvan, but the latter turns down the offer because he is already in love with the village belle ‘Gauri'.

Since the film was already too long, the director edited that scene from the film. Imagine an English Mem proposing to a village lad! Now that should have been interesting to watch. But alas, it probably wasn't meant for our eyes, eh? Now do we see Ashutosh toying with plans torelease the complete version of the film, just to boost that phenomenal box-office record?
