Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital, early this morning, after falling off a bike.

According to sources, the 52 year old was riding a new bike owned by one of his colleagues when he skid and fell.

He fractured his jaw and sustained some minor bruises. It is learnt that the director will be undergoing a minor surgery for the injuries later today.

The director's latest film, PK, which released last year was a huge blockbuster. He is currently editing his upcoming production Saala Kadoos, which stars R Madhavan.
