Subhash Ghai became the proud father of a baby girl when his wife Mukta delivered a baby girl at 1.40 p.m. (IST) this afternoon (24th) at the Breach Candy Hospital in Bombay. This is the couple`s first child in 27 years of married life.

When contacted, an ecstatic Subhash Ghai informed, "The mother and the baby are both fine." When asked, who the baby girl resembles, Ghai quipped, "Why would you want her to look like me? Obviously, she looks like her mother!"
