According to news website IndyaWire.com, a top source in Dubai has revealed that Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi and model Arshi Khan spent a secret, passionate holiday in Dubai. They even stayed together for two days at a 7-star hotel, says our source. IndyaWire has not been able to verify this information as Arshi Khan refused to speak to us on this matter and Shahid Afridi was not contactable.

However, our source who was privy to the entire episode told us that model and actress Arshi Khan who is originally from Bhopal, but has now made Mumbai her home and Afridi may have a long distance relationship brewing between them, with the rendezvous location being Dubai. Arshi Khan regularly visits Dubai every 2-3 months and our source told us that she would visit Dubai to meet up with Afridi.


In another development, Arshi Khan confirmed to IndyaWire.com that she had first met Shahid Afridi at the Taj Mahal hotel at Colaba in south Mumbai. They became friends and have kept in touch since then. However, she did not confirm or deny her meeting with him in Dubai. Speaking to IndyaWire.com on phone she said, "I have lots of friends and relatives in Dubai and travel to Dubai very often. A lot of Pakistani cricketers are seen visiting, shopping and partying in Dubai and regular visitors to Dubai meet them often. This does not mean I am sleeping with Afridi," she retorted.

However, our source confirmed that Arshi Khan and Afridi had stayed together in a Dubai hotel for two days. "They are daily in touch with each other on phone and sms, and Afridi messages Arshi Khan at least few times every day," the IndyaWire.com report says.
