But the young actor got a shock of his life when certain Mrs Narula from Amritsar started to haunt him.

He initially thought it was one of those harmless calls actors receive from their fans, but when the phone started ringing at odd hours, the actor realised that this was one fanatic admirer.

"She would send me CDs of her choice and call me frequently. I was fine it till one rainy day when she warned me not to step out. I thought she was genuinely concerned about me, so I thanked her."

But after some time she called again, admonishing me, ‘Beta, I told you not to go out...it's raining.' Now that was scary," recounts Iqbal.

Ask him if he is planning to file a complaint against her and he gushes, "No way... I will not do anything to hurt her sentiments. I am known today because of my fans."
