Rumors insist that Aamir Khan, despite his denials, is all set to make a stellar appearance in Bollywood Dreams, a multi-million dollar operatic extravaganza from the mogul of such productions, Andrew Lloyd Webber. It may be recalled that Andrew Webber, who is known for his longest running production on earth, Jesus Christ, Superstar and Phantom of the Opera, had floated his next big opus with Shekhar Kapoor and AR Rahman in a joint venture.
It seems that Aamir has set aside six months, no less, to appear in the opus, and has already voice-auditioned for the play, to good response from the director, Shekhar Kapoor and music maestro A.R. Rahman. Now, Aamir has denied it categorically saying that it would mean that he`d have to stay away from India for a long stretch of time, making his next film after Dil Chahta Hai hit theatres in not less than three years. Too long a gap.
He is a one-film-per-year actor, and he`s not ready to give up his huge fan following in Bollywood a bump in the backside. Three cheers to that!
