Emraan Hashmi was a special guest at a conference of the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons. The actor was invited to speak on his experience as the parent of a child, who has undergone a major surgical procedure.
His son, Ayaan, now in remission, was diagnosed with an illness last January. Not too long ago, the star had announced his decision to author a book on coping with the stress of such a challenging situation. Emraan hopes to provide
comfort and guidance to parents of children battling cancer or other such serious illnesses.
