The first look of Active Fitness was launched by none other than close friend and the superfit superstar Salman Khan, at the JW Marriot.
Salman, was all praise for Tata Sky, Suniel and his team, "I applaud Tata Sky and Brilliant Living Television, for bringing the top talent of celebrity trainers on one platform. For the first time, the trainers will get due recognition."
Pallavi Puri, chief commercial officer, Tata Sky, was supportive of Suniel's crusade. She said, "We, at Tata Sky, could not have asked for a better partnership in the fitness genre than Suniel Shetty and his team."
Suniel said, "I am absolutely elated and energised to spearhead Active Fitness on Tata Sky, which is the perfect platform."
The programming will feature top celebrity trainers like Yasmin Karachiwala, Deepika Mehta, Satya, Shivoham, Vrinda Mehta, Abbas, Shifuji, Kaizzad Kapadia, Kunal Sharma, Marika Johansson, Shradha Vora, Sejal Vora, Baba, Neville Wadia, Baqar Naseer, Khuaish Sharma, Neeraj Mehta, Rizwan Sayed, Rupali Sim Vaid, Kaiwaan Panthaki, Deepali Jain, Anushka Parwani, Vijay Alwa, Arun Singhada, Longinus, Jack Hebner, besides celebrity shows like Fit & Famous and Fit-X.
Divulging his fitness dream, Suniel said: "It's my dream through Brilliant Living Television, to provide a platform for both experienced and young fitness trainers, to showcase their talent. And create India's biggest and only fitness army. My dream also includes, to take to the rest of the world, ancient Indian knowledge of organic cooking, nutrition, Yoga, Ayurveda and Kalaripayattu, Mallkhamb and many more such food and fitness forms, which are all part of our heritage. I believe that the staple diet of different parts of the country, have tremendous nutritional value and should be used as fit food for a Fit-India (Swastha Bharat)."
