When actress Diana Hayden went to Barcelona, Spain to anchor the 2006 Laureus World Sports Awards, she wouldn't have imagined, she'd get the "ride of her life". Yes! Diana zip zap zoomed at a speed she had never dreamt of catching up.

When she met one on the world's best Formula 1 racing champion Mika Hakkinen, he asked her to accompany him on a drive in the fast lane.

Not willing to miss the adventure, Diana donned the professional racing suit, and stepped into his AMG-Mercedes for a spin on the F1 race track.

"What an adrenalin rush! It was not only euphoric, but little dizzy too," she quipped stepping out of the race car. No doubt Diana felt like that. After all, the car speed was a whizzing 285 km per hour!
