Jungle Book entertainment produced `Angry Indian Goddesses` has literally set the world ablaze, with thundering receptions at film festivals in all parts of the globe. From the time of it's premier at Toronto International Film Festival on 18th September 2015, the film spread like wild fire to over 50 countries with in a short span of 39 days.

Directed by Pan Nalin and produced by Gaurav Dhingra, Angry Indian Goddesses is being touted as India's first ever female buddy film. The film is about a wild bunch of girls from all over India who descend upon Goa, at their closest friend Freida's request. She has invited them to her family home for a surprise announcement: she's getting married! Thus begins an impromptu bachelorette, a riotous roller-coaster ride of girl bonding and adventure from the girls' point of view, never seen before in Indian cinema.

Angry Indian Goddesses secured the first runner up position at The Grolsch People's choice awards at TIFF, the first for an Indian film. It also won the People's choice award at Rome International Film Festival, showing that the stories and characters in the film, though set in a current Indian context, have a universal appeal.

AIG has managed to earn reception in middle eastern countries through Italia Films where women oriented films don't usually find easy acceptance. Apart from the Middle East the film is being distributed in Latin American Countries through California Filmes, Germany by NFP Marketing & Distribution, Switzerland by Filmcoopi, France by ARP Selection, Canada by Mongrel Media to name a few.

Commenting on the same, Gaurav Dhingra, Co-founder & Producer, Jungle Book Entertainment, "AIG is a blend of commercial filmmaking, cutting edge storytelling that is set in the "Real" India. We all know of the the huge shift in the perception, taste and preferences of mainstream Indian audiences. With AIG we are gunning to cater to this growing demand for finer storytelling that is, at the same time, entertaining. The film is JBE's maiden film in the Hindi Film Industry and I am thrilled to bring it, and many more in the future, to the Indian audience."

The film is all set to release in India on 27th of November. Angry Indian Goddesses marks the entrant of Jungle Book Entertainment into India. The young production house already has an impressive line up of films: a feature length documentary film titled Faith Connections, which had its world premier at Toronto International Film Festival 2013 and has released in over 20 countries since, as well as an English feature film titled, Beyond The Known World, starring award winning Australian actor David Wenham and French actress Emmanuelle Beart, which is the first India - New Zealand co-production, set for worldwide release in 2016.
