Anupam, who will lead a 'March For India' to protest the voices being raised over "intolerance" in the country, made the request on Twitter.
"Dear PM @narendramodi Ji. Please give us time tomorrow to share with you the thoughts of millions of Indians all over the world. #IndiaIsTolerant," the actor and BJP supporter, posted.
The actor will be joined by a string of artistes, writers and painters for the march, which will be held on Saturday.
Anupam shared on Twitter that "due to overwhelming response, the location of March For India has been shifted from India Gate to National Museum, Janpath here. They will walk to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
