After Aamir Khan, it is now the turn of Rani Mukherjee to endorse Titan watches. Rani Mukherjee has joined Aamir Khan as an ambassador for Titan, only she will be promoting women's watches for the brand.

Her reason for signing on? "My father had gifted me a Titan watch after I completed Class 10, so I guess there is an emotional connect of some sort."

She will be appearing on both TV and print campaigns conceived by Ogilvy and Mather.

The watchmaker is also launching Titan Raga's 50 new designs, which will be priced between Rs 1,500 and Rs 5,000.

Harish Bhatt, chief operating officer, Titan Watches, said at the announcement of the tie-up, "Choosing a brand ambassador is part of Raga's strategy to emphasise the Indian-ness, sensuality, beauty and femininity of the brand; qualities that Mukherjee embodies."
