"I directed Amitji in 'Zameer' way back in 1975 and after that I could not get any suitable story idea for him, but now every story I think of seems to be for him," Chopra told in an interview here.
Chopra, who had the onerous responsibility of carrying forward the legacy of his father B R Chopra, got one of his biggest hits when he joined hands with Bachchan for the successful family drama 'Baghbaan' after a string of flops under the prestigious B R Films banner.
Chopra said that he is already on the verge of completing his third film with Bachchan - 'Baabul' - again a family drama in which the mega star plays a man trying to marry off his widowed daughter-in-law Rani Mukherjee.
He said that the film should have been released by now but was delayed due to Bachchan's recent indisposition.
"I am confident the film will be released by November," Chopra said exuding confidence about the success of the film despite a number of big budget films like Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' and Rakesh Roshan's 'Krrish' due for release later this year.
Chopra, who had made India's first big-budget disaster movie 'The Burning Train' in 1980, said he has already finalised his next film with Bachchan and it also has an interesting subject.
