Dia Mirza got married to producer Sahil Sangha in Gurgaon last year, but she says that she is not very fond of the city.

"You might take me for an alien if I give you my honest opinion. The more I see, the more I learn and understand that good roads and sophisticated infrastructure do not essentially improve the quality of life. We need to judge development on other parameters as well.By killing trees and ruining our environment, we are destroying the chances of living in a healthy society. And it's not just Gurgaon, many cities in India are following this model of haphazard construction," she says.

On why she chose Gurgaon as her wedding destination, then, she says, "Sahil's family is from Gurgaon. We wanted to have the wedding somewhere spacious and we realized that the Millennium City offers just that." However, Dia has not explored the city too much. "I am yet to go around the city. I just hope that I get to see a lot of greenery when I do go out exploring," she told us on a recent visit here.
