A PIL filed in the Bombay High Court has sought to question industrialist Guru Swaroop Shrivastav's investment in the forthcoming film 'Krrish', starring Hrithik Roshan and produced by Rakesh Roshan.

Suresh Laxmi Garg, the petitioner, has claimed that since Shrivastav was booked by Economic Offences Wing last year on the charges of forgery, he should not have been allowed to invest in any Indian enterprise before the case against him was disposed of.

According to Garg, Shrivastav has invested Rs 35 crore in Krrish.

While demanding that Economic Offences Wing probe this investment, petitioner has sought a stay to the release of the film as an interim relief.

The petition is expected to come up for hearing on Wednesday.
