Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has been convicted and sentenced to jail in two poaching cases, has landed in a fresh trouble with the Gujarat CID today reopening a
case against him for allegedly killing a "Chinkara" in the Kutch district of Gujarat in 1998.
Just two days back a court in Rajasthan had framed charges against Salman for allegedly hunting a black buck in Kankani village in October 1998.
In the chinkara case, the Gujarat Forest Department had earlier conducted preliminary investigations and closed the matter for want of evidence.
However, now the case is being reopened and fresh probe will be conducted, said Kutch CID inspector B B Jhala.
Salman was allegedly accused of killing two chinkaras in the Sumsara village of Kutch district, while he was shooting for the film "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam".
The case was reopened following an application given by an NGO working in the field of wildlife.
