"The Legend of Buddha" is about the journey of Prince Siddhartha, prophesied to abandon his opulent life for a spiritual pursuit. Though his parents try to stop him by showering luxury and comfort on him, their efforts go in vain.
Witnessing the effects of old age, sickness and death during a tour of his city, Siddhartha feels compelled to abandon worldly pleasures and seek the true meaning and purpose of life.
