Deepika Padukone has said it several times that 'Bajirao Mastani' has been a special journey for her and the actress recently showed her gratitude to the film's director.

Sending a note of thanks to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the 29-year-old actress took to her Twitter handle and wrote, 'Thank you #SanjayLeelaBhansali for the incredible experience called #BajiraoMastani. I owe you my life & more...I love you.'

The magnum opus that also stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra is stated to be released on December 18.
