Film industry veteran Tajdar Amrohi has gifted a brand new car (a spic white-coloured Scorpio) to his son Mashhoor, as a token of love, on the eve of the launch of his boy's
feature film 'Hum Laakh Chhupayein Pyaar... Magar'.
"Pop took me by surprise when he came and hugging me, handed over the car keys. This is my first own car
and I had tears in my eyes," says the excited beta.
His film, which rolls in a day, will see the 24-year old revive his legendary grandfather Kamaal Amrohi's banner,
the erstwhile 'Kaamal Amrohi Pictures'.
More significantly, Mashhoor Amrohi would be creating history in Indian cinema, for being the first actor who would also write and direct his debut film.
But unlike his grandfather's larger-than-life projects like 'Pakeezah', 'Mahal', 'Daera', 'Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayee' and 'Razia-Sultan', Mashhoor's film 'Hum Laakh Chhupayein
Pyaar... Magar' is a contemporary romantic comedy that deals with today's youth and their happy-go-lucky lifestyles.
