We never had any doubts about it but for rest of the sceptics, Shah Rukh made it amply clear in an interview to a leading daily that he is the King Khan and
there is hardly any chance of him being overthrown in the near future.
He further added, "No newcomer is around to oust me,'' said Khan. "I'm the Ronaldinho of acting. I'll be there for another five to six years then maybe you can think of some
other actor. Many magazines call me the icon of the country. The fact is I'm blessed, it has been a charmed life.''
But was it always that rosy for the actor? Unlike most of Indian megastars SRK first appeared in some television series before he went on to try his luck in the film
industry.
He won millions of hearts with his roles and the Indian viewers hold him in great awe, so much so that he is regularly rated as the country's top actor in polls by movie
media.
Now Shah Rukh is slated to make his come back in Director Shimit Amin's ‘Chuk De India' where he plays a girl's hockey team coach.
