Randeep Hooda goes unrecognized on the sets of 'Sarbjit'. Its the real fact that as Randeep entered the set, he went quietly and settled at a corner on the floor in his character of a prisoner. The director of the movie Omung Kumar, who was anxiously waiting for the arrival of his lead actor also failed to recognize Randeep who was just sitting a few steps away from him. The confusion took an end, when Randeep shouted out his presence leaving the crew members amazed.

The National Award winning director Omung Kumar recently kick-started the shoot of his much talked about upcoming biopic 'Sarbjit' with his lead actor Randeep Hooda. The duo that is known for their extreme dedication and hard work were recently encountered by an astonishing episode on their first day of shooting.

According to source, this method actor Randeep Hooda has taken his role in the movie way too seriously. The talented actor who known to be extremely involved in whatever character he portrays for his projects took an unexpected step of entering the set already as his character. The actor, who is portraying the role of the slain prisoner Sarbjit, decided to ditch his lavish transport and walked his way towards the set, which was located a few miles away from his residence. Enrobed in the prisoner's avatar, the actor faced quite a bewildering incidence when the security guards of the sets forbad him to enter the sets as they couldn't identify him. The actor was baffled as to how to convince them till the producer of the movie Sandeep Singh recognized him and stepped into his rescue. The perplexing moment didn't end there!


Recalling the incident, the director Omung Kumar says, "It was quite an unpredictable gesture; the dedication and hard work Randeep has put for this role is outstanding. He is known for his method acting but I feel for this role, he has gone beyond his limits. Randeep is a phenomenal actor and I feel this is by far the most challenging and difficult role he has done in his career and I am sure now that he will do justice to his character"

Well with such an episode happening on the first day of shoot itself, we are excited to see what the talented actor Randeep Hooda has in store for all his fans in 'Sarbjit'.

Script is written by Rajesh Beri & Utkarshini Vashishtha, Director of Photography by Kiran Deohans, Production design by Vanitha Kumar, Creative Director is Sandeep Singh and Creative Producer is Akshay Balsaraf and directed by Omung Kumar.

This movie is slated to release on the 20th of May 2016 with its premiere held at the well-acclaimed Cannes Film Festival.
