When you're pretty as a picture and the wife of one of the most powerful men in the industry, it's not easy for anyone to make you blush. But pink is exactly the colour the checks of the lovely Divya Khosla Kumar turned, during a conversation she had with a man who's king of the turnstiles and a man who knows his movies - Akshay Kumar himself. At a recently held awards function Akki was seated next to T-Series boss Bhushan Kumar's wife and catching up with the girl who began her acting career with none other than Akshay himself in 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon'.

So what was it that he said exactly? Before Bhushan's eyebrow goes up any further, lets hasten to add that the conversation was purely professional and the astute Akshay was showering praise on Divya's youthful choice of movies as a director.

He had chanced upon the promos of her upcoming musical 'Sanam Re' starring Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat and was amazed at the freshness of this youth oriented movie - that is Divya's next offering, after her super hit 'Yaariyan'. And he wouldn't stop with the praise for the product. He told her that he had loved the promos and was looking forward to watch her film , In fact, he said that he was convinced that this was another hit from the label - on the way.


That's what made the svelte Divya blush and cross her fingers. It was good to hear. But for us, honestly, what was more appealing were accolades from an industry stalwart who wasn't praising his own project for a change. In an industry where mostly everyone's out to outdo the other, it was good to see genuineness. That too from a superstar.

Now we know what made the lady turn pink. We guess that's the colour of praise. And success.
