When Imtiaz Ali travelled all the way back to Mumbai from Kolkata where he is currently working on an assignment

The unit of an upcoming rom-com titled 'Cute Kameena' had an unexpected guest in its midst during the trailer preview yesterday. Acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali was present at the event to show support to the debutante director, Simmi Karna, who happens to be his college senior.

Says a source, "Simmi is his senior from Hindu College, Delhi, and she had invited him to the exclusive screening of the trailer for mediapersons. Though busy with some shoot in Kolkata, Imtiaz decided to fly to Mumbai for the do. It was a pleasant surprise for the film's unit."

Although the trailer will be out today, Simmi organised its screening 24 hours in advance given Imtiaz's availability for just one day. Simmi says, "I am falling short of words to explain how humble Imtiaz is. Not only did he take time out from his busy schedule to watch my film's trailer, but also agreed to become a part of the screening for the media."
