Actress Lisa Ray, who is known for films like "Water" and "Bollywood/Hollywood", says girls should be taught bravery, not perfection.

"Teach girls bravery, not perfection. Let's make a world in which they write their own script rather than follow anyone else's," Lisa wrote on her Twitter page on Tuesday.

Lisa, who successfully battled myeloma (cancer), was last seen onscreen in the romantic entertainer "Ishq Forever", in which she played the role of a secret agent.

Directed by Sanjay Dayma, the film also featured Ruhi Singh, Krishna Chaturvedi, Jaaved Jaffery, Zakir Hussain and Arif Zakaria.
