Kalki Koechlin who was last seen in Margarita with a Straw has been nominated in the Best Actress Critic's Choice category at the TOIFA 2016 for her adept portrayal of a disabled character discovering her sexuality. She indeed played a phenomenal role in the film.

While asking how she feels about being nominated, she said, `I never expected a nomination as I rarely get nominated. So yes, being nominated for TOIFA 2016 is a great surprise.`
