She was vigorously dancing to a song sequence choreographed by Farah Khan when she felt a crick in her neck. The film directed by Tanuja Chandra was being shot at Filmistan Studios.
Sushmita tried to continue shooting in spite of the neck pain that she developed on the sets, but after a while the pain was extremely unbearable and the beautiful actress could no longer continue shooting.
Finally Sush had to seek medical help and also had to get a medical scan done. The shoot was finally called off and Sush was advised bed rest for a while.
On last Friday former Miss Universe had to face rough time too at the release of author Ira Trivedi's novel at Crossword.
Media and public were present in full attendance and everything was fine until Miss Sen started to leave and as the excited audience yearned for a glimpse and an autograph of their favourite actor.
Suddenly, all hell broke lose and a scuffle broke out between the store keepers and over-zealous media persons trying to get some extra visuals.
"As all the camerapersons scampered within the store trying to shoot some visuals, the volunteers from the store started fighting and abusing them," said Jay Dhanesha, a regular visitor at the bookstore.
Soon, the situation got so out of hand that the police had to be called in. The bookstore refused to comment on the ruckus.
Amidst all the fracas, Sush took out some time to talk to media where she refused writing an autobiography.
"Recently in an interview a journalist asked me if I would ever write my own autobiography. So I said why not, someday when I think I have enough to write about my life, I would write my autobiography."
She further added, "He than asked me what would I name it, so I said I would call it Butterfly." Angrily she continues, "And the next thing I see is that I am in the headlines saying that I am writing my autobiography."
But why does she want to name her autobiography Butterfly? "What the world calls as the end of a caterpillars life, God calls it the beginning of a Butterfly's life", she says with a big smile on her face.
Well, no autobiography is ok. But what about her film based on Rani Laxmibai's life? "A lot of research has to be done on that subject before I start making the film. The subject is very dear to me and I do not want to go wrong with it."
