One associates innovative promotion strategies with Shah Rukh Khan films. For his next release, 'Fan', the makers have done something unique to connect with his "special" followers.
Yash Raj Films has reached out to his visually impaired fans by posting a personal letter penned by the star in White Print, a monthly English magazine in Braille.
In the letter, the actor invites them to a special screening of Fan at Yash Raj Studio four days after it hits theatres. His letter was largely to thank his fans for supporting him throughout his Bollywood career.
The letter reads: "Hello, my friends. My name is Shah Rukh Khan and I am one of your biggest FAN. I take this opportunity to convey my heart felt love for all of you, today. Because you have supported me through thick and thin; because my journey would be incomplete without you; because you've showered me with love for the past 25 years; because you've truly made me what I am today; because it's my privilege to have beautiful fans like you; because saying a mere 'Thank You' wouldn't be enough (sic)." It ends with an invitation to a "select few" to watch his upcoming film.
