No home work for Lisa Ray in 'Veerappan'

Lisa Ray was introduced to Ram Gopal Varma's style of working on the set of his film 'Veerappan'.

The maverick filmmaker told her not to do any research on the subject and never look at the monitor to review a take while filming.

Says Lisa, "I have always researched a character in depth before its portrayal on the big screen, but this time around I have gone by RGV's vision, as he asked me to just show up on set without preparation. While my character is complicated, I have faith in RGV's ability to get my best performance."
